Kernpunten

Spoel-, lint- en zweepwormen komen endemisch voor in Nederland.
Een infectie met de lintworm Taenium solium kan cysticercose veroorzaken; daarom moet bij lintworminfecties altijd de juiste soort worden bepaald.
Spoel- en zweepwormen worden behandeld met mebendazol.
Bij lintwormen is niclosamide het middel van eerste keuze.
