107. Trommelvliesperforatie

Trommelvliesperforaties worden meestal veroorzaakt door infectie of trauma.
Pijn in het oor en gehoorverlies zijn de meest voorkomende klachten.
Zonder behandeling geneest het trommelvlies meestal binnen een aantal weken.
Verwijzing naar de kno-arts is geïndiceerd bij een persisterende perforatie na 4–6 weken.
Wanneer de trommelvliesperforatie niet spontaan geneest, wordt chirurgische sluiting overwogen.
