Kernpunten

Slaapwandelen treedt vooral op in het begin van de slaap.
Spanning, koorts, slaaptekort en bepaalde medicatie kunnen het slaapwandelen verergeren.
Het heeft geen zin om de slaapwandelaar tijdens het slaapwandelen wakker te maken.
Het slaapwandelen komt vooral bij kinderen voor, maar kan ook bij volwassenen optreden.
