Kernpunten

  • Pitted keratolysis is een bacteriële huidinfectie van de voetzolen of handpalmen die vrijwel altijd gepaard gaat met hyperhidrosis.
  • De diagnose wordt gesteld op basis van de specifieke kratervormige putjes en erosies op de voetzolen bij lichamelijk onderzoek.
  • Adviseer het dragen van ventilerend schoeisel en frequent wisselen van sokken.
  • Behandeling met clindamycine- of erytromycinelotion is meestal effectief.
