176. Blaaspijnsyndroom/interstitiële cystitis

Kenmerkend voor het blaaspijnsyndroom of interstitiële cystitis is pijn in de onderbuik die toeneemt met de blaasvulling.
Bij onderzoek bevinden zich in de urine vaak leukocyten en erytrocyten, maar een bacteriële infectie kan niet worden aangetoond.
De diagnose blaaspijnsyndroom is een diagnose per exclusionem.
Er bestaat geen ultieme effectieve behandeling en derhalve lijkt een multidisciplinair zorgmodel de beste aanpak.
